Description
Box is a slow-growing, evergreen, native plant, dense in habit with small dark green glossy foliage.
This form of Box is a slower growing cultivar valued as an excellent formal edging/low hedging plant, as well as being suited to topiary as it responds very well to clipping.
For larger hedges and topiary designs Buxus Sempervirens (Common Box) is a more popular choice.
Spacing :
To calculate the number of plants needed for a border edging or a knot design – our suggested planting distance for Dwarf Box plants is 15 cm (6″) apart.
These plants are a minimum of 7 to 10 cm (3 to 4”) in height – at that planting distance they should have filled out sufficiently to close the gaps in between over a period of 2 or so years.
The plants are lifted from our nursery beds and are sent out bare-rooted.
Please note that the price per plant (for this size of plant) reduces the more plants you order – but you need to order from the correct section in this Category.
This section is for ordering 50 to 199 plants @ 95p each
